UPP-110S: Sony is the original provider of thermal paper for video printers. The UPP-110S is a standard matte paper for monochrome printing. The roll is 110 mm wide and 20 m long, which yields an average of 217 prints. Like all Sony products, Sony UPP-110S ultrasound thermal paper has a number of clear advantages over competitor’s products.
UPP-110HG: The main application of Sony UPP-110HG paper is ultrasound diagnostics (US) in medicine and veterinary medicine. It is less often used for microbiological observations, radiographs and forensic medicine devices. The Sony UPP-110HG paper showed an excellent result in terms of detail and image quality when examining the oral cavity.

UPP-110HD: Sony UPP-110HD ultrasound paper is thicker than Sony UPP-110S but duller than Sony UPP-110HG. The multilayer structure of the thermal paper provides high-quality prints of ultrasound images. The protective layer allows for longer term storage.
For maximum image quality ultrasound images, make sure to select Sony UPP-110HD paper in your printer’s settings. Incorrect setting of the thermal paper type in the printer settings will lead to distortion of the thermal mode of the print head. This is necessary because the quality of printing deteriorates and the thermal head overheats and fails.
